Sydni Zastre (University of Birmingham)

Sydni Zastre is a PhD student and postgraduate teaching assistant at the University of Birmingham. Her thesis is entitled ‘Writing the pregnant body in Britain, 1918-1945.’ Born in Edmonton, Alberta, she holds a BA Hons in History and German from the University of Alberta and an MSc in Gender History from the University of Glasgow. Her research interests include motherhood, dress history, and queer history.
