Cristina Santaemilia is a second-year doctoral student at the Universitat de València. Their research, funded by the Ministry of Universities of Spain, examines the ubiquitous yet inconspicuous motif of the tableau vivant in the Neo-Victorian novel. Their research interests centre around interartistic phenomena and visual culture in the context of Neo-Victorianism.
