Biography: Bethany Appleton is an independent scholar whose research interests include Victorian women's poetry, lyric theory, and theatre and performance. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Cambridge and with an MSt in English Literature (1830-1914) from the University of Oxford.
